We are seeking a dynamic Content Manager to spearhead our content creation and strategy efforts. This role involves managing and enhancing our brand messaging across various platforms, leading content strategy in alignment with our product vision, and overseeing a team of talented freelancers. The ideal candidate will possess compliance, and social media management, with a knack for developing engaging content that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Strategy:
  • Take ownership of the website's content and brand messaging, ensuring alignment with SEO, product, PPC, business development, and growth strategies.
  • Research, write, and edit compelling content, including landing pages, blog posts, and micro-copy elements like promotions, pop-ups and sliders.
  • Lead and manage a team of content freelancers, overseeing relationships, budgets, and the development of new content channels (social media, videos, email marketing).
  • Content Oversight and Brand Management:
  • Execute a comprehensive content strategy, acting as the brand's guardian.
  • Manage external freelancers and content agency partnerships.
  • Curate and manage content for social media platforms to increase followers and enhance brand awareness.
  • Familiar with content writing tools like Hemingway, Grammarly and more.
  • Content Strategy and Implementation:
  • Conduct content audits, update existing content, and post regularly on our websites.
  • Engage in market research to understand user preferences and align content strategy accordingly.
  • WordPress Management:
  • Oversee the content management system (CMS), specifically WordPress, ensuring proper functionality, security, and performance.
  • Publish and schedule content updates, including articles, blog posts, images, and multimedia elements.
  • Monitor website performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct regular content audits to identify outdated or underperforming content and propose updates or removal as necessary.
  • Ensure all content meets established standards for grammar, style, and formatting, including proper use of headings, links, and multimedia elements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to align content strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Mother-tongue English.
  • 2-3 Years experience as a Content Manager
  • Excellent writing, copy writing and micro copy, content editing, and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in content management, and social media strategy.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing freelancers and external partnerships.
  • Familiarity with content management tools (e.g., WordPress, Hemingway, Grammarly).
  • Ability to conduct market research and align content strategies with user preferences.
